	Posters and reproductions represent a significant quantity of the artwork found in our schools. This notable and interesting collection includes Impressionists, art of the Maya and Aztec ancient cultures, and historical and modern African pieces. This large collection of posters and reproductions can be attributed to a long-standing tradition in Chicago Public Schools. Since the 1920's, the graduating class gifted a reproduction of a famous work to their school. This tradition continues today.
